Serviced description – What is service and why? (COA) Clean oil and adjust. All vintage mechanical timepieces should have a COA before putting them back into use.My C.O.A. Begins with complete disassembly of the watch and movement. Movement parts are cleaned and inspected. High quality horological oils are applied to the correct areas as the watch is reassembled and balance poising, if needed. A COA includes light polishing of the case, and case back, reinstalling the crystal with the proper tools or adhesives and band installation. The watch is then tested and adjusted on a watch timer. * Note- New to vintage watches? Vintage watches are fully mechanical and even when new do not keep time like modern Quartz watches do. However a vintage watch can be maintained to last for a lifetime. Great for collecting or gift giving. A vintage timepiece never goes out of style.
